Content Creator Trim Video

Trim Video lets you shorten a video clip right on the canvas — no need to open a separate video editor. Set the frame where playback should start and where it should end, and adjust the clip's volume along the way. The source file itself stays untouched: the system keeps the full version, so you can return to it or redefine the trim points at any time.

Where you can trim video

The Trim icon appears wherever a video is used as content:

1. Content Creator Settings → Content Background — the background of your editable content.
2. Layer Background — the background assigned to a layer.
3. The Media widget.

How to trim a video

1. Hover over the video block — a ✂️ Trim icon will appear next to the preview.
2. Click the icon to open the floating trim panel above the canvas.
3. Drag the left and right handles of the selected range to set the start and end points of playback.
4. Use Play/Pause to preview the trimmed fragment.
5. Use the Volume button to adjust the clip's audio level.
6. Click Trim to save the changes, or Cancel to close the panel without saving.

Trimming doesn't cut the file itself — it only changes the start and end timestamps of playback. The full clip is always available, and you can adjust the trim range again whenever you need to.
