Adding content to the screen

You can add a Playlist, a Schedule, or a Screen layout as content to the screen.

Adding a playlist to the screen

A Playlist is a sequence of content (videos, images, apps, websites, audio files, audio and video streams, editable content or HTML Zip archives) that play one after another on the screen.

1. On the Screens page, select the screen or group and click its card.
2. On the screen page, click Select content in the navigation panel.
3. In the right sidebar, open the Playlist tab, choose the playlist you need, and click Add.

If you select content in the *Content* tab, a new playlist will be created automatically from the selected items.  

Adding a schedule

A Schedule is a sequence of Playlists and/or Screen Layouts. With a schedule, you can play content at specific times of day or on selected days of the week.

1. On the Screens page, select the screen or group.
2. In the screen page navigation panel, click Select content.
3. In the right sidebar, open the Schedule tab, choose the schedule you need, and click Add.

Adding a Screen Layout

A Screen Layout lets you split the screen into independent areas to play different content. You can also use Screen Layouts to create interactive scenarios for touch screens.

1. Open the screen or screen group by clicking its card.
2. In the screen navigation panel, click Select content.
3. In the right sidebar, open the Layout tab and click Add. If the layout contains a playlist widget, you’ll be prompted to choose the playlist that will play with this layout.

Playlist widget — a zone in the screen layout where a playlist is played. The playlist is added directly on the screen (after the layout is already linked to it) and can be different for each screen.
