Permissions settings for the Android player
For the Look App player to work fully, several permissions must be allowed. This guide describes the settings using Google TV 12 Chromecast and Android TV 11 as examples.
Google TV 12 Chromecast
- Go to general Settings to configure permissions
- Then go to the Apps section
- Select Special app access
After that, select the desired settings from the list below:
Display over other apps
Responsible for autorun after quitting or restarting an application
- Select Display over other apps
- Find LookPlayer in the list of applications and turn it on
- Go back to the Look app.
Energy optimization
Responsible for autostart when the device is turned on
- Select Energy optimization
- Find LookPlayer in the list of applications and turn it off
- Go back to the Look app.
Modify system settings
Responsible for volume control
- Select Modify system settings
- Find LookPlayer in the list of applications and turn it on
- Go back to the Look app.
Android TV 11
- Go to general Settings to configure permissions
- Then go to the Apps section
- Select Special app access
After that, select the desired settings from the list below:
Display over other apps

- Find LookPlayer in the list of applications and turn it on
- Go back to the Look app.
