Why Proof of Play Matters
Using a USB stick to display content might seem simple - until something goes wrong and you have no idea. You can’t update content remotely, you can’t see what’s on screen, and you don’t even know if the screen is on at all.
With Look Digital Signage, proof of play features come built in - giving you full visibility and control over your network at any time, from anywhere.
Key Features of Proof of Play in Look
Real-Time Alerts
Be the first to know if something goes wrong. Receive notifications when:
- A screen goes offline
- A content file fails
- Storage is low
- A device is out of date
Alerts can be sent via email or shown directly in your Look CMS dashboard.
Online Status Indicators
Check the current state of each screen in your network:
- Online/offline status
- Last sync time
- Content playback status: OK, failed, or blocked
Live Screenshots
Capture a live image of what’s playing on any screen - anytime.
You can also schedule automatic screenshots at specific hours to confirm playback during business-critical times.
Playback Statistics
Track the number of times each piece of content has played and on which screens.
Filter results by date range and export detailed reports for internal or external use.
Log Reports
Access full system activity logs:
- Device restarts, syncs, errors
- All CMS user actions
- Playback events and issues
This gives you a complete history of how your signage system has been performing.
Included in All Look Plans
