Industry:
Hospitality.
Customer:
Lafontaine Gourmet (Saudi Arabia).
Tasks:
- Using digital screens for creating dynamic menu boards with regular positions and specials of the day.
- Finding affordable digital signage hardware to power TVs.
- Choosing easy-to-use software to manage the content in all the restaurants centrally and remotely.
Solution:
Connecting the screens in each restaurant to the cloud-based Look digital signage service using cost-effective Xiaomi hardware players and Look app player installed on them right from the Google Play Store.
“We manage 2 fast-food chains called Astoria and Elestez, which serve probably the best burgers, sandwiches and shwarma here in Jeddah. When launching our restaurants, we from the very beginning decided to go with the digital menu boards, because now it is an absolute ‘’must have’’ for any businesses like ours. And here the question of “How to manage the content” arose. Initially, we leaned towards an option with USB sticks. But I’ve thought “Ok, at the moment we have only couple of locations and even in this case it will be really hard, time-consuming and expansive to change menus and special offers regularly with USB sticks, not to mention dozens of restaurants that are on our plans. What if we could manage all the changes instantly and remotely?”. And that's how we found Look! The deployment was really easy and cost-effective. Since this software works with any Android-based devices, to connect our TVs to the CMS we’ve purchased inexpensive Xiaomi boxes and installed Look app player on them right from the Google Store. And that’s it! No servers, licenses and any other high upfront costs. All works from the box and we are truly happy with the result! Look dramatically simplifies the content management process for us. I can change the menus in a couple of clicks in all the restaurants from any place. It’s really easy-to-use and the solution works just smoothly. Along with all the advantages, the pricing looks very attractive, especially considering that you pay less as you grow. Overall, perfect tool for our tasks, the value of which will only increase with the growth of our chains!” – said Othman Gabr, IT-manager at Lafontaine Gourmet.
Here in Look, we’re happy to help Othman and his team to make their daily content management easier and faster.
